A Guide to Mascara
Applying make-up is the daily routine of many women and girls. Make-up has become an integral part of their life and they never miss the cosmetics section whenever they go shopping in the supermarket. Their bag is full of different types of cosmetics. Most important part of a make-up is they eyes as you can’t let them be as it is while you refine all the other facial features. A lot of products too are available for the eyes including eye shadows, Eyeliners and finally the showstopper mascara!
it enhances the eyes very beautifully. It is used to define the eyelashes and depending upon how you apply it.It can make your eyelashes appear thinner, thicker, and longer or as you desire. So it is very important to choose the mascara according to your needs. Make your choice on the basis of the formula you want, like a thickening formula, a lengthening one or the waterproof one. Always prefer the mascara from big brands like Maybelline and L’Oreal There prices are higher than others, but they are better in color and texture and last longer than their cheaper competitors. Just use the eyelash comb and apply the mascara on your upper eyelashes only. Apply it in an upward motion and then let it dry for a few seconds. Then, blink and double check if it has dried or not.
Mascara is applied at the end after rest of the make-up has been done. It is applied after the eyeliner. The liquid form is the most used and preferred over other textures. You just have to tip the eyelash comb in it and apply it while lightly curling your lashes upwards. Check if there is any mascara in the wrong place. As it is liquid, it can get on your eyelids, so use a make-up remover to clean it. Also, you should use mascara sparingly for the same reason and over-using it may spoil the whole make-up and mess it up, causing you to redo a lot. For the beginners, the old dotted-line method can be an easy way to apply it. It is nothing to be worried about as in a few days the application becomes perfect.
While choosing your mascara, see to it that you pick up a navy blue or any bluish shade. Once in a while you can take off from the regular black mascara to the blue one and it looks great in the day time and makes all the eyes gaze at you. Also, curling your lashes is a must always to make them look more elegant and feminine. Also, after you come home after the late-night party or prom. Don’t just give an excuse that you are tired and go to sleep. Never sleep with your mascara on.
Remove it using an oil-based remover and a cotton pad. But be gentle and minimize rubbing as it can cause premature aging in that area. Also, discuss with your friends about the various good options available in the market, you never know you may get a better one than you are using right now.
