It may not look serious to others, but the person suffering from eczema knows very well what he is going through and may have to go through for all his life. Eczema is a disorder of the skin. It is also normally called atomic dermatitis.  Eczema causes the skin to go dry, chapped, crust, inflame, bleed, etc. It is normally genetic and also can be caused by a number of environmental factors. Pollen, dust, mites, irritating chemical, etc. can cause eczema too. Generally it is seen in children and starts in toddler age normally though it can start in any age. It continues up to adulthood. It can affect any part of the body or also can affect the whole body too.

The symptoms of eczema are well known among the public. Also, the symptoms may or may not vary depending upon the body area that has been affected. Though there is no cure for eczema, but it can go away itself if it is managed properly and if treatment is given at the earliest stage.
